Brief Description: Sanding and Primer Painting the Bottom of the Aile
Used the 3M polishing pad to rub down the top of the horizontal stabilizer and both sides of the vertical stabilizer. Set both aside. Set two of the ailerons on the table and sanded both sides with a foam sanding block. Repeated the sanding for the other two ailerons. Opened the primer paint can and stirred the paint until the solids were fully dissolved from the bottom. Poured a quantity of primer into the roller paint pan. Rolled and tipped the bottom of each of the ailerons and the bottom of the elevator. Set all aside to dry.
Cleaned up the roller and pan and closed the primer paint can. The tops of the ailerons and elevator will be painted with the finished paint during the next work day.
