Brief Description: Finished Rudder and Sanding on Elevator
Touched up spots on the rudder in the blue and white areas. Set it aside to dry.
Sanded the bottom of the elevator with the foam sanding blocks. Worked the edges to smooth out wrinkles and ruff spots.
Carefully removed the masking tapes from the rudder. Used some white paint to cover a couple of very small areas where the red paint bleeds into the white. Set the completed rudder aside.
Turned the elevator over and sanded the top smooth with the foam sanding block. Using the small iron smooth down a couple of areas on the tapes where the edges were not laying smooth. Placed the vertical stabilizer on the table and sanding both sides smooth. Checked the tape edges and ironed any areas that needed attention. The elevator bottom and spots on the top and vertical stabilizer are ready for a final painting of primer during the next work day.
