Brief Description: Final Coat for the Bottom of the Upper Right Wing
Finished sanding the trailing edge half of the bottom of the upper right wing. Wiped down the wing with a shop rag to remove the sanding residue. Inspected the wing bottom and touched up any areas that were not smooth with the small iron. Sanded again those areas where the iron left marks and wiped down the surface removing the sanding residue. Wiped down the bottom with the tact rag to remove any sanding dust. Applied a final coat primer with the roller and tipped with a paint brush. Allowed the paint to dry and then turned the wing over so the top was up.
Sanded the top of the wing with the fine form sanding block. Wiped down the top of the wing with a shop towel. Inspected the wing for any areas where the tape edges were not smooth. Applied the small iron to any areas where the tape edges needed smoothing down. Touched up the top of the wing with primer where the glue was showing. Wiped down the top of the wing with the tact rag to remove any sanding dust. The top of the wing is ready for the finish coat of paint.
Used the white 3M pad to polish the red and blue stripes on the right side of the rudder. Turned the rudder over and polished the left side of the rudder. The left side of the rudder is now ready for adding the blue and red strips.
