Brief Description:  Finish Basic Paint on Lower Right Wing

Sanded the rudder's red and blue strips lightly and wiped away the sanding residue. Applied a coat of blue paint on the blue strip with a mini roller. Allowed the blue paint to dry to the touch and then applied another coat of blue paint. Washed the mini roller to remove the blue paint and rinsed the roller in clear water. Dried the roller. Applied a coat of red paint on the red strip with a mini roller. Allowed the red paint to dry to the touch and then applied another coat of red paint. Allowed the rudder to dry.

Wiped down the top of the lower right wing with a tact rag. Opened the gal can of "Dapper Dan" brown paint and mixed until consistent. Using a small roller applied one coat of paint to the top of the wing. Allowed the paint to dry and then went over the wing with a very fine 3M pad. Wiped the top of the wing with a tact rag. Applied a second coat of paint to the top of the wing and left it to dry.

Moved the lower right wing to the wing rack. Loaded the top right wing on the table with the bottom up. Using the foam sanding blocks started sanding the front half of the wing bottom. Finished sanding the front part of the wing and ran out of day. The back half will have to wait for the next work day.
