Brief Description:  Start of Rudder Stripes and Final Primer on Center

Touched up areas on the rudder where the glue was showing. Mixed up the white paint for the center stripe. Used a mini roller to paint the stripe on both sides of the rudder. Allowed to dry to the touch and then applied a second coat of white paint to both sides of the rudder. Again allowed to dry to the touch and then rolled a third coat of white paint on the strips followed by tipping the paint. Set the rudder aside to dry over night for sanding the next work day.

Moved the center wing section to the table and laid it with the bottom up. Sanded the bottom with the foam blocks. Wiped the bottom of the wing with a shop towel to remove any sanding residue. Ironed any areas that were not smooth with the small iron. Touched up any thin spots in the primer. Rolled on a coat of primer section by section and tipped it before it could dry. Allowed the bottom to dry to the touch and then turned the wing over so the bottom was up. Repeated the process of ironing, sanding, and painting on the top of the wing section.
