Brief Description: Finished the Primer Painting of the Top of the Low
Glued the patches in place over the penetration holes on the top of the wing. Wiped away the excess glue with a shop towel. Lightly sanded the top of the wing section by section. Applied the small iron to the edges of the tapes and the patches smoothing down any ruff areas. Wiped the surface of the sanded area with a lint free towel. Applied another coat of primer with a roller and then "tipped" the freshly laid paint with a paint brush. Using the soldering iron melted out the areas of the patches where they laid over the cutouts in the top of the wing. Carefully turned the wing over and using the small iron went over the bottom of the wing smoothing out ruff areas. Sanded half of the bottom of the wing. The remaining half along the leading edge will be sanded during the next work day.
