Using the small iron went over the top of the lower left wing smoothing down all of the edges and ironing around each of the stitch rivets. Washed the top of the wing with the soap solution and rinsed with clear water. Applied a coat of primer section by section over the top of the wing. Applied a second coat over half of the wing bushed on at 90 degree from the first coat. Half to wait until an additional supply of primer comes in to finish the second coat.
Turned the wing over so the bottom was up. Ironed the edges smooth and around the stitch rivets across the bottom. Used the soldering iron to melt out the centers of the access ports on the bottom of the wing. Positioned the tie down bracket next to the access port and marked it penetration point on the fabric. Melted out the slot for the tie down bracket on the fabric. Cut a patch of fabric to fit over the slot and glued it in place for reinforcement of the penetration. The bottom of the wing will be washed during the next work day.
