Brief Description:  Two Coats of Primer Applied to Horizonal Stab

Wiped down the bottom of the wing with a shop towel removing any loose material from the surface. Sanded any areas which didn't appear to be smooth. Set up the roller and tray and pored paint into the tray. Applied the primer in increments with the roller and followed up quickly with a brush to "tip" the paint for a smooth finished. Continued around the wing until the bottom was completely painted.

Marked up and cut out material for patches to go over each of the cable fairing. Completed five patches. Aligned the material over each of the cable fairing and glued it in place. Ironed down the edges and over the fairing to hole all in place. Applied glue over each of the five fairings and wiped away the excess with a shop towel. Allowed to dry and then ironed each fairing edges.

Moved the completed wing onto the right wing carrier and set aside. Placed the horizontal stabilizer on the table and washed both side with soap and water. Damped one section at a time and applied two coats of primer to both sides of the stabilizer.
