Brief Description:  Primer Painting of Lower Ailerons

Washed the lower left aileron both sides, end, and back. Used the small iron to go over the aileron and iron down any edges that were not smooth. Applied a coat of primer to a dampen section of the aileron. Moved to the next dampen area and applied a coat of primer. Continued around both sides, end, and back applying the primer. Went back to the beginning and applied a second coat of primer bushing it on 90 degrees from the first coat. Repeated the process above for the lower right aileron. Set both aside to dry over night.

Sanded the upper right aileron with a fine sanding sponge block. Care was taken not to sand over the stitch rivets. Moved the aileron off the table and set it with the other tail sections.

Kevin helped me move the upper right wing on to the work table with the bottom side up. Used the small iron to go over the edges and rivet areas smoothing out any bubbles. I will start washing the bottom wing on the next work day.
