Brief Description: Primer Painting on Upper Right Aileron
Put the upper right aileron on the table and washed both sides. Went over the aileron with the small iron and smooth down any edges which were ruff. Wiped a damp cloth over a section of the aileron and then applied a coat of primer. Repeated the process for the remainder of the aileron. Applied a second coat of primer bushing it on at 90 degrees from the first coat. Set the aileron aside to dry.
Sanded both sides of the vertical stabilizer and sealed any edges with the small iron. Set it aside for the next round of painting. Sanded the upper left aileron on both sides, the end, and the hinged side. Set it aside for later painting.
Placed the lower ailerons on the table with their bottom sides up. Glued a drain grommet near the trailing edge at the end of each aileron. Covered each grommet with a patch glued around the grommet. Primer painting with occur during the next work day.
