Brief Description: Landing Gear Struts and Main Axle
Assembled the left strut by connecting the front and rear legs to the axle frames using 3/16 inch pop-rivets. Five rivets were placed in each leg through the axle frame aligning the legs along each edge and bottom of the frame. The axle frames are attached on both sides of the legs. The right is constructed the same as the left.
The main axle is placed on the table and the left and right struts and slid over the axle at each end. The axle cross members are aligned with the struts and marked on the inside of each strut. A trial fitting is completed no each end bracket to ensure they will fit over the ends of each cross member.
