Brief Description: Replaced the ELT Battery and Completed Registratio
Removed the ELT from the aircraft by disconnecting the antenna and lifting the transmitter from the case. Removed the four screws from the sides of the ELT and lifted off the front. Removed the old battery from the case and replaced it with the new battery. Removed the date replacement label from the new battery and applied it to the top right side of the ELT case. Replaced the front cover and installed the four screws holding it in place. Replaced the ELT back into the holder in the airplane taking care to slide the portable antenna through the hole in the floor. Connected the external antenna to the top of the ELT.
Linked up to the web site www.beaconregistration.noaa.gov to complete the registration for the ELT. Created an account at NOAA with ID of email and completed the registration for the ELT ID of ADCC0 9C32C 40401. Renewal is due Nov 17 2021.
