Brief Description: Continued Trouble Shooting the AOA System
Completed continuity testing on the wires to the AOA sensor on the left wing strut. All three wires tested good. Tested the dimming pot and found that the resistance didn't change when the pot was turn full right or left. Need to recheck the wiring on the pot. Powered up the AOA display and observed a normal self test. Tried the programming box to reset the unit without any success. None of the indications came up as described in the manual.
Checked the aileron cabling and found no issues with routing or interference. The cable is about 1 inch too short. Received a short cable end for the turnbuckle today which will be installed in the left wing stub allowing for the correct alignment of the ailerons.
