Brief Description: Started on Setting Up the AOA System
The set-up box was connected to the back of the display box. Following the instructions from the manual the system was power up and the self check was observed. The set-up box showed a green status light and no LED's were lit on the display. The manual provided the steps to reset the control box to the factory defaults. Those steps were followed but the indicated responses did not occur. Called the company and spoke with the designer briefly on the conditions. He indicated that there can be issues on the initial reset. Indicated that the wiring should be checked and then try again.
Opened the sensor case on the left front wing spar to get access to the wires on the back of the pot. Ran out of day before completing the wire trace. That will be the first steps taken during the next work day.
