Brief Description:  Fitting the Vane Mount to the Wing Strut

Secured the instrument panel end of the tube from the rear storage compartment Slid a length of red 16 gage wire down the tube which will provide power for the ADS-B equipment.

Continued the filing on the strut mount for the AOA vane. Worked the curvature until it fit around the wing strut. Marked off a end cap on a scrap sheet of aluminum and cut it out with the tin snips. Sanded the edges smooth. Set the mount over the end cap and marked each of the inside rib ends on the cap. Scribed a line between marks leaving an X on the cap at its center point. Used a step drill bit to drill the center hole in the end cap to fit the shaft of the pot. Mounted the pot into the end cap and then slid the pot into the strut mount. Sanded the edge of the end cap to remove excess material around the mount. Set the mount aside for later work to complete the mount.

Use the label maker to create labels for the USB plug, the transponder circuit breaker, and the AOA indicator. Installed the labels at each location after cleaning the areas with alcohol.
