Brief Description:  Moved the Blind Altimeter Mount

Checking on the oil filler assembly fitting into the fuselage found that the blind altimeter was mounted too close to the side of the fuselage. Repositioned the mount more towards the center of the instruments panel. This provided more room for the filler assembly to fit into that space.

Measured the transponder instrument light wire to the center power strip and cut to that length. Labeled the wire in two places. Removed 3/8 inches of insulation from the wire. Slid on a 3/4 inch segment of heat shrink and then crimped a terminal on the wire. Used the heat gun to set the labels and the heat shrink tubing over the crimped terminal. Connected the wire to the instrument light terminal area.

Slid the belly pan in place and secured it with a 1024 screw. Connected the antenna to the transponder coax. Slid the transponder into the case and found it blocked from seating. Found that the antenna connector was not mating up correctly. Removed the transponder and the coax from the antenna. Removed the coax from the transponder case to see if the connection problem can be solved.
