Brief Description:  Changed Out Avionics 10 AMP CB For A 15 AMP

Washed down the wing stub with soap and water to clean the foot prints. Did a final wipe down with alcohol to dry the stub. Applied each anti-skid strip by peeling off the backing and carefully laying down the strip starting at the top inside strip. After the strip is in place went over it with a plastic scraper provided. Repeated the process for the five remaining strips.

Removed the avionic circuit breaker from the instrument panel. Tested the fit of the 15 amp circuit breaker in the same hole. It did not fit in that location due to the larger size of the 15 amp circuit breaker. Removed the wires from the original avionics circuit breaker and transferred them to the new 15 amp breaker. Drilled a new hole in the instrument panel on the left line of circuit breakers and installed the 15 amp breaker there. Moved the avionics label under the 15 amp breaker. The open hole will be filled with the 7 1/2 amp breaker for the transponder system.

Obtained a cover for the 15 pin plug on the blind altimeter harness. Mounted the cover on the plug taking care to align the wire clamp in the end of the cover securely around the wires.

Purchased an EBC-406AP ELT from Virgil Chapman today. Spent some time looking at options for the installation of the antenna inside the tail of the aircraft. No good solutions yet.
