Brief Description: Continued With the Installation of the Radio Harne
Installed a crimp terminal on the end of the ground wire from the left head phone jack. Used the heat gun to set the heat - shrink tubing and the wire labels on the ground wire. Connected the ground wire to the ground terminal on the instrument panel.
Put a clip-on terminal on one end of a 8 inch ground wire. Added a heat-shrink tube and a wire label to the ground wire and then another heat-shrink tune and a crimp terminal. Mounted the ground wire to the ground terminal on the right head phone jack. Climbed into the cockpit and mounted the right MIC jack to the instrument panel securing it with lock-tight. Placed the head phone wire from the radio harness onto the audio jack and mounted it into the instrument panel. Terminated the other end of the ground wire on to the fuselage ground buss.
Connected the ground wires in the radio harness to the instrument panel ground buss. Mounted the power wires from the radio harness onto the 3 amp circuit breaker. Routed the power wire from the circuit breaker to the avionics segment of the power buss on the instrument panel. Mounted the circuit breaker into the instrument panel and secured it in place with lock-tight. Secured the power wires to the avionics section of the power buss.
Routed the USB cable to the power supply and through the instrument panel for connection to the ipad.
