Brief Description:  Continued Organization of Instrument Panel Wiring

Purchased 10 feet of #12 gage stranded wire in red and in black for use to connect the emergency battery to the ignition system. Laid out a nylon tube on the right side of the cockpit from under the seat to the back of the instrument panel. Tried to slip a red and black wire paired into a 3/8 inch nylon tube 3.5 feet long. Was unable to get the wires to slide through the tube after five tries. Gave up on the tube of that size and will purchase a larger one for the next attempt to install the wiring during the next work day.

Removed the oil pressure light and signal wires to replace them with longer wires. Built both wires about 3 inches longer with labels, terminals, and heat shrink tubing on all ends. Installed the longer wires. Continued applying zip ties to wire groups to obtain a tie about every 4 inches. Installed three zip tie standoff on the fuselage cross brace behind the instrument panel and secured the near wire bundles to the standoffs. To be continued.
