Brief Description: Start of Electric Systems Testing
Installed the battery with the top frame in place. Connected the ground wires and then the positive lead to the battery. Placed the master key in the lock and engaged the power to the instrument panel. Checked that both warning lights were on for alternator failure and low oil pressure. Checked the displays for CHT, carburetor heat and amperage, all with digits lit. Check the switches for the fuel pump, scavenger pump, and engine starter. Checked the instrument light controls for switched on, switched to rheostat, and off.
Mounted the lower frame of the instrument panel with ten 1032 pan head screws.
