Brief Description: Fuel Pressure Line and Test Install of Battery
Measured the length of the plastic line needed to connect the fuel line to the pressure gage. Cut the line to length and installed the gage fitting on one end. Secured the gage end and tighten the fitting until the line was firmly in place. Install the restrictor fitting into the line and then secured it to the inline "T" with the fittings provided.
Installed the battery into the designated location and attempted to install the top holder. Found that the main fuel line from the fuel tank was too close to the front tab. Removed the fuel line and reformed it to bend closer to the firewall and away from the battery holder. Installed the fuel line and then placed the top holder on the battery and secured it with two 1/4 inch lock nuts. Connected the ground wires to the battery. Started to connect the positive cable to the battery and heard a pop. The 50 amp ALN fuse blew. Removed the battery and started checking for the short. Found the wiring for the AMP gage shunt was not correct per the data sheet provided. Removed the blown fuse. Reconnected the wiring for the AMP shunt per the provided drawing. I'll have to wait until a replacement fuse is installed to check the new configuration.
