Brief Description: Continued Power Wiring and Shelf for Controllers
Completed the red power wiring for the avionics and beacon switches to the circuit breakers. Tested the compass light and found it good. Constructed a strap for use in mounting the compass to the instrument panel.
Completed the green paint on one of the outer wheel covers and set aside to dry.
Investigated the possible mounting locations for the lighting controllers. Determined that the best approach was to construction a small shelf for mounting to the instrument panel. Cut out the material, bent the edges up at a 90 degree angle and drilled lighting holes in the bottom. Cut an end triangle and fitted it to the shelf. Used vice-grips and a spacer to clamp the end in place on the shelf. Have to bring some pop-rivets from the airport for complete the shelf.
