Brief Description: Mounted Solenoid, Fuses, and Shunt Assembly
Cut a rectangle sheet of 0.02 aluminum and mounted each fuse assembly and connected each to one side of the solenoid. Mounted the shunt to the left fuse for later connection to the alternator. Connected the right fuse to an 8 gage wire which will connect to the main power distribution buss at the instrument panel. See Image 1.
Marked the location for the firewall pass-through fitting for the alternator wiring. Drilled a 3/4 inch hole in the firewall and installed the pass-through fitting using an aluminum washer on the engine side of the firewall and blue lock-tight on the nut. See Image 2.
Cut a segment of plywood 5 by 8 inches and mounted the main power and grounding busses to the plywood. This will be mounted to the fuselage on the right side just behind the instrument panel and next to the bank of circuit breakers. See Image 3.
