Brief Description: Solenoid and Fuse Link Connection
Reviewed the electric diagram in the Rotec manual. Looked at the available positions on the firewall for mounting the solenoid and inline fuse. More review is needed. Added a segment of shrink tubing to the 4 gage cable and clamped the end fitting on the cable. Applied heat to shrink the tubing around the cable end. Using cable cutters cut the cable at 2 and ¼ inches long. Removed ½ inch of insulation from the cable end and applied solder flux to the end. Soldered the end to keep all of the fine wires together. Mounted the cable to the left side of the solenoid with the free end pointing up. Placed the fuse link on the end of the cable and tighten the setscrew holding it in place. Mounted a cable end in the other end of the fuse link which will serve as a connection for the amp meter and alternator wiring.
