Brief Description:  Removed Oil Scavenge Lines and Filter

Removed the scavenge line from the pressure side of the engine driven scavenge pump. Removed the scavenge line from the suction side of the engine driven scavenge pump and from the inline filter. Removed the line from the filter to the engine sump. Removed the filter from the mounting bracket on the engine mount. Moved the filter to the lower output of the sump and connected it with a 90 deg coupling. Measured the length of hose needed to connect the filter to the suction side of the engine driven scavenge pump. The length required is 13 1/2 inches. Deducting for the end fitting left a length of hose needed of 11 1/2 inches. Marked off the length on a segment of hose and taped that area with duct tape. Cut the hose at the mark with a cold chisel on a steel block. Removed the tape from the end and carefully install the fitting end cap on the hose. Installed the female fitting into the end cap to complete that end of the hose. Other end to be installed in the next work day.
