Brief Description:  Removed and Installed Electric Fuel Pump

Corrected the wiring for the electric fuel pump and scavenge pump switches. Inspected the engine, oil lines, and fuel lines for leaks. Removed the electric fuel pump hoses and loosened the clamp. Slid the pump up and out of the clamp. Turned the pump over and slid it back into the clamp. Positioned the pump and then tighten the clamp. Installed the fuel lines back on the pump and tightened each of the hose clamps.

Turned on the master and ran the electric fuel pump developing about 3.5 psi fuel pressure. Shut down the pump and checked for fuel leaks. Found a small leak on the fuel pressure gage line. Tighten the fitting at the fuel line which stopped the leak. Shut down the master switch.

Checked out the setup instructions for the TAC instrument. Per the manual the Pulse option need to be set to 4.5 for the 3600 engine. Completed the setup per the instructions.

Installed a rubber coated clamp on the fuselage frame and bolted it to a clamp on the oil accumulator control cable. Positioned the cable so the instrument panel was vertical and tightened the mounting bolt.

Placed the landing light cutouts on the landing light frame blanks and marked their outlines. Attempted to cut out the frame with the Dremel tool but that would be way too slow. Brought the blanks home to attempt to use a jigsaw to complete the cutouts.
