Brief Description:  Prime the Oil and Fuel Systems

Completed the construction of the oil catch cup for the lower intake drains and connected each drain to the cut with latex hoses.

Removed the 9 front sparkplugs from the engine. Using the starter spun the engine for about six seconds until the oil pressure warning light went out. Using a flash light carefully inspected the oil lines for any leaks. Tighten a fitting at the firewall on the oil return line due to a small leak. Applied a small amount of anti-seize lubricant to each sparkplug and screw each in place with my hands. Used a torque wrench set for 11 Nm to tighten each sparkplug. Connected each spark wire to its respective plug.

Poured about two gallons of ethanol free premium gas into the fuel tank. Checked the tank and fuel lines for any leaks. Very small leak at the gasalator was corrected by tightening the bowl mounting screw. Attempted to pressurize the fuel lines with the electric fuel pump. Discovered the following problems;
1. Fuel pump switch is connected to the scavenge pump.
2. Fuse for the scavenge pump is too small for the load.
3. Scavenge pump switch runs the fuel pump.
4. Fuel pump is installed backwards.
These issues will be corrected during the next work day.
