Brief Description: Installation of the Mixture Control Cable
Routed the mixture cable through the lower instrument panel frame after removing the nut and lock washer. Replaced the washer and tighten the nut to secure the mixture control cable to the frame. Removed the rod end bearing and routed the end of the mixture control cable through the firewall bracket and along to the carburetor. Replaced the rod end bearing and connected it to the carburetor mixture control arm using a washer and an AN3 bolt with nut and cotter pin. Clamped the mixture control cable to the engine mount adjusting the cable to ensure a full rich mixture with the cable fully extended.
Checked the mixture control cable routing in the engine bay to ensure clearance and tighten the firewall bracket to hole the cable in place. Tighten the fuel line connections at the solenoids and marked each connect with torque ink.
