The existing throttle cable is 10 feet long and too long for the position of the throttle on the left side. It is being replaced with a 7 foot cable.
Removed the air cleaner front plate and oil cooler from the carburetor. Removed the carburetor from the intake manifold and positioned it for removal of the throttle cable. Removed the cable clamp from the carburetor bracket and disconnected the cable end from the throttle arm. Care was taken not the loose the mounting washers on the throttle arm in connecting the new throttle cable. Remounted the throttle cable clamp to the carburetor bracket and repositioned the carburetor back on the intake manifold.
Removed the old cable from the firewall fitting and routed the new throttle cable through the firewall.
