Brief Description:  Throttle Cable Attachment & Reconnect Lines

Removed the air filter from the carburetor. Removed the oil cooler and carburetor from the engine. Removed the top air filter plate and the oil cooler. Cut a small grove in the oil cooler to accept the temperature probe for the carburetor heat reading. Super-glued the temperature prob into the grove.

Connected the throttle cable bracket to the carburetor and mounted the throttle cable to the carburetor. Positioned the carburetor back on the intake manifold and attempted to route the cable between the distributor caps. Did not fit. Removed the carburetor and checked possible cable routing for the throttle. It was determined that the throttle cable could be routed outside of the right distributor cap and up over the engine mount. Again installed the carburetor with a 10 deg tilt to the left which allowed the throttle cable to pass to the right of distributor cap. This necessitated the bending of the primer bracket to fit between the distributor caps. Checked the function of the primer to ensure it still was working.

Installed the oil cooler and top air filter plate on to the carburetor. Care was taken to ensure that the carb heat sensor remained in place between the oil cooler and carburetor. Each mounting bolt was installed with a lock washer and tighten. Reconnected all of the oil lines to the oil cooler, sump pump, and fuel line to the carburetor.
