Brief Description: Cleaned Up Windscreens and Started on Cockpit Edge
Wiped down each windscreen lower edge with a wet rag to remove traces of the wood filler used on the bases. Checked each windscreen and wiped clean the lower edge and the top of the mounts. Set them aside to dry for later painting.
Split a section of plastic water hose to fit over the aft edge of the forward fuselage cover. Used a section of tracing paper to determine the amount of material necessary to wrap over the hose and be secured to the cover edge. Used the paper to mark out the necessary leather strip needed for the edge cover. Cut the strip of leather to size. Awaiting the grommet punch kit to begin the assembly of the edge cover.
