Brief Description: Started the Top Left Wing Assembly
Drilled each spar at the designated location for the cross member anchors. Mounted each anchor with a AN5 bolt, a cable tab, and a lift tang if required. Laid out the spars on the table and slid the cross braces on the anchors forming a box configuration. Connected a 3/16 inch cable with thimble and sleeve to each of the tabs at the anchors and crimped the sleeves. Pulled each cable across the wing and mounted it with a sleeve and thimble through the tab at the anchor and held it in place with a cable clamp. Checked the alignment of the wing spars and adjusted the cross cables until the wing spars were square and the cables were tight. Crimped each of the sleeves securing the cables to the wing spars. Used the drimel tool to cut away the excess cable end at each of the sleeves. Completed a final crimp on each sleeve to partially cover the cut end of the cable.
Finished the construction of additional wing ribs for the wing. Marked the location on the wing spars where each wing rib is to be attached. Slid each wing rib on the spars and positioned it at its mounting location. Used a square to set the rib in position and installed two 1/8 inch pop-rivets in the front spar through the angle bracket at the nose of the rib. Installed a second angle brace at the aft spar using two1/8 inch pop-rivets for the spar, top and bottom tubes of the rib. Run out of day after install four ribs.
