Brief Description: Continued Work on Aileron Configuration
Install the two aileron hinges at the indicated locations on the plans. Drilled 3/16 holes in the lower aft wing spar and in the aileron spar. Installed AN3 bolts through the hinges and the aft wing spar and the aileron spat. Turned the wing over and cut the bottom wing ribs to free the aileron to move on its hinges. Trimmed the wing ribs back to obtain the deflection required for the aileron. Tested the deflection and trimmed the wing ribs until the correct deflection is obtained in both directions. Added the inside end ribs to complete the aileron structure. Installed the L trim on the top and bottom of the aileron and the bottom edge of the wing at the aileron opening.
Mounted the aileron horn across the designed ribs attaching the horn to both the top and bottom ribs. Also added the link attachment bracket for the top aileron control rod.
