Brief Description: Mounting the Right Outer Wing Struts
Rechecked that each wing panel was level. Positioned the forward outer wing strut and determined that the inside forward edge of the strut needed about 3/8 inch of material removed to fit property over the wing cross brace for attachment. On the other end the same amount of material was removed from the aft edge of the strut for correct fit. A 3/16 inch hold was drilled through the lower strut flange and the center or the wing cross brace. An AN3 - 21 bolt, washer and lock nut was used to secure the lower end of the strut to the wing.
The aft outer wing strut was prepared the same as the forward strut and secured the same way.
The tail wheel was removed from the fuselage for correction of the mounting hole angle.
