Brief Description: Installed Lower Braces on Horizontal Stabilizer
Suspended the support braces over the work bench in the shop. Spray painted each of the support braces and set them aside to dry.
Did a final paint check on the braces and touched up a couple of areas where the paint was light.
Applied rubber cement to the three leather patches in the tail area and to the locations on the tail surface. Allowed to dry. Positioned each of the leather patches on the area where the cable goes through the skin. Carefully positioned the leather patches over their designated areas and pressed them in place,
Installed the left side bottom horizontal support braces followed by the right side. Tighten up the bolts on the top cable assembly on the airplane.
Run the wire cable down the stick which will connect to the push to talk switch in the new control stick grips. The routing of the intercom switch wire has to keep clear of the control.
