Getting in and out of the cockpit it was discovered that the floor pans were not long enough to support standing in the cockpit. Decided to add a floor from some of the light plywood available. Measured the area for the floor and cut the plywood to fit the area. The plywood was too light to support standing on it without additional support. Tig welded two tabs on each side of the floor area about two inches from the back of the floor. Drilled and tapped each tap for a 1024 screw. Added a length of 1/2 by 1/4 "C" channel across the back of the floor plywood. Painted the plywood floor with varnish and set it aside to dry. Installed the floor into the cockpit when it was dry and drilled the mounting holes and secured with two 1024 1/2 inch pan head screws.
