Worked on the fuel tank weep at the output by draining the fuel from the tank. Removed the shutoff value from the tank and applied a coat of gasket sealant to the threads and set the value aside to set.
Installed the left side panel to the cockpit by sliding it under the forward cover and connecting it to the aft vertical strut bottom bolt. Climbed into the cockpit to work on securing the panels. Aligned the top front holes with the lower anchor nut and installed a 1032 by 5/8 inch pan head screw. Tighten the screw and then aligned the next set of holes to the left. Continued to install screws along the top edge of the panel. Moved to the right side panel and repeated the process of installing screws starting with the far left side moving to the right. Got out of the cockpit with effort which is going to take some more conditioning.
Installed the shutoff value back into the fuel tank and connected the fuel line. Put about a gallon and half of fuel back into the tank to see if there were going to be any leaks. No initial leaks showed up. Will check tomorrow to see if the value remains dry.
