Brief Description: Installed Front Cover on Fuselage
Checked the instrument wiring one last time and wire tied several loose wires together. Removed the airspeed tube and routed it back pass some wiring for a clearer path.
Placed the forward cover in the cockpit and then moved it over the instrument panel. Aligned the cutouts around the forward vertical struts. The left cutout needed some additional trimming to fit correctly. This was completed and the cover was maneuvered into place with the gas cap slid into place on the gas tank. Installed two 1032 screws at the top front of the cover keeping it in place. Connected the cross cables in the front hand tight. Installed the left side top cable again hand tight. Installed the oil filler assembly and connected it to the top of the oil tank. Slid the right side panel in place and connected it to the aft right vertical strut bolt. The remaining screws will be completed during the next work day.
