Brief Description: Secured Windscreens to Mount Base
Measured the offset from the top of the base to the bottom of the big opening on each end of the windscreen. Marked the location on each end of the base on the inside. Drilled a hole for a #8 counter sunk wood screw in each end of the base. Mounted the windscreen in the base and checked the drilled hole for screw clearance. Installed a #8 by 1 1/4 inch screw in each end of the mounting block. Repeated the process for the second windscreen.
Used a small plastic putty knife to push wood filler along the bottom of the windscreen to fill any gaps between the mount and the edges of the windscreen. Completed the fill around the windscreen and removed any excess filler. Set the assembly aside to dry for the next day. Repeated the process for the second windscreen.
