Moved the aircraft out of the hanger to put in 5 gals of fuel. Found that the tail was heavy to try to move the aircraft and hold up the tail. Going to need a tail wheel dolly for the aircraft for normal operations. Used a step ladder to put the 5 gals of fuel into the tank using a funnel.
Attempted to start the engine without success. The fuel was not getting to the carburetor even after several attempts to prime the engine. Not sure why. The battery ran down after the fifth attempt to get the engine started.
Moved the aircraft back into the hanger using a wheel dolly on the tail wheel. Found that the tail wheel was not going to be adequate for the aircraft. Going to have to replace it with a heavier configuration before the next attempt at taxi testing.
