Brief Description:  Mounted the Center Wing Section on the Fuselage

Cleared the work table of the forward fuselage cover and side panels by setting them over next to the side wall of the hanger. Moved the center wing section to the work table and place it top down. Selected the left side supports and started to mount the front strut into the wing. Had to sort out the cables to find the cross bracing cables marked for the front and sides of the struts. Discovered that the design had the cable tabs connected to the same bolts as the strut mount. This would result with cables extended through the bottom fabric in locations not prepared for that access. The solution was to drill out one of the rivets on the strut and bolt the cable tabs to the strut so that the ends were outside of the bottom fabric. This was completed on all four struts and they were mounted to the center wing section with the associated cables attached. The drag cables were stored into the bottom of the center wing section before it was picked up and moved to the fuselage. With the help of Bill Gill and Mike Dooley we walked the center wing section up over the tail and into its location over the cockpit. Installed the four AN3 bolts in the fuselage stubs attaching the struts to the fuselage. The Cables will have to be resized to fit the configuration of the airplane due to the new mounting locations.
