Brief Description:  Wiring Inspection

Organized the left side wiring behind the instrument panel. Removed about 4 inches from the EGT sensor wire, relabeled and installed new female blade terminals with heat shrink sleeves. Also removed 3 inches from the left wing position light wire. Relabeled the wire and soldered the ends for insertion into the terminal block. Installed three additional standoff zip ties on the cross member behind the instrument panel and mounted the wires that laid close by. Added two additional zip ties to the tube for the emergency battery wiring to keep it clear of the right rudder bar.

Mark conducted an inspection of the wiring of the aircraft. Several minor issues came up. The wire for the oil pressure warning light lay over the steel braded oil line from the accumulator and should have some additional protection. The mounting bolts for the fuel additive container should be changed out to pan headed screws to prevent damage to the container. A standoff or additional protection should be applied to the cable from the alternator to keep if from shorting out on a steel oil line.
