Brief Description:  Correct Caliper Fittings and Bleed Brake Lines

Removed the temporary plug from the oil tank input port and installed a AN6 plug to seal the opening.

Replaced the brake line fitting on each of the calipers with a 1/8 NPT elbow and the #3 JIC to 1/8 NPT fitting. This allows the connection of the steel braded brake line to connect to the calipers and seat property. Filled the brake line reservoir with DOT#3 brake fluid and exercised the left brake. Bled the left brake at the caliper until clear fluid was present. Exercised the brake but was unable to get a proper contact. Tried pumping the brake and was able to move the brake pads close to the stator but still not contact. Realized that the brake pads needed to be adjusted closer to the stator to provide proper braking action.

Because the adjustments screws could not be reached with the caliper installed on the axle, the right caliper was removed. Following the instructions on the caliper the outside brake pad was moved to within 1/16 inch of the stator. The caliper was installed back on the right axle. Brake fluid was added to the right master cylinder and the brake line was bled at the caliper. The brake was exercised until no air bubbles were present. The brakes still did not engage properly. Additional work on bleeding the brake line is needed.
