Brief Description: Install Flash Lube Value Saver Kit
Worked on fitting the left lens and bezel into the wing stub. Continued to have trouble fitting the bezel to the lens opening. Borrowed a dimpling clamp from Bill Gill. Used a #8 dye to dimple the bezel and wing stub around the lens opening. Mounted the top set of screws into the lens and bezel. The bottom of the bezel came up about an 1/8 inch short of the mounting anchors on the lens. Decided to spilt the bezel and use one section on the top of the lens and the other on the bottom. Will work on this during the next work day.
Positioned the Flash Lube bottle on the fuselage on the left side front. Noted the position of the mounting points about the bottom of the fuselage. Removed the steel band from the Flash Lube container. Positioned the clamps on the bottom of the F7 upright and mounted the steel mounting band on the clamps with two 1032 5/8 long screws with locking nuts. Placed the bottle back into the steel band and secured the band. Routing of the feed tube and connecting the low level sensor is left for the next work day.
