Brief Description: Completed the Bottom Right Wing Including Insignia
Finished the touch-up on the green paint on the wing and aileron. Removed the aileron and set it aside. Turned the wing over so the gray side was up. Laid out the insignia and then cleaned the surface with denatured alcohol where it will lay. Marked a two inch slot on the insignia to fit over cable fairing. Cut the slit for the end of the fairing and pulled the cable through the opening. Removed the backing from the decal over the fairing and using the heat gun smooth down the decal over the fairing and half of the decal. Laid down the other half of the insignia and worked around the cable fairing with the heat gun. Remove the remaining backing and carefully smoothed down the insignia using the heat gun very sparing. End of day.
