Measured the 1 inch angle for bracing of the outside wing rib on the left side wing stub. Cut to shape and drilled two 1/8 inch holes in each end of one side of the angle. Matched the position of the inside rib angle and drilled a 1/8 inch hole into the outside wing rib. Installed a cleo clamping the brace to the wing rib. Positioned the bracket perpendicular to the bottom rib and drilled a 1/8 inch hole in the rib. Installed a cleo in the bottom hole. Drilled the second holes in the top and bottom ribs. Installed a 1/8 inch pop rivet in each of the open holes. Removed the cleos and installed pop rivet in their place. Measured the diagonal from the top of the inside rib to the bottom of the outside rib on the 1/2 inch angle. Cut the angle to fit with final adjustments. Used vice-grips to hole the 1/2 inch angle next to the vertical 1 inch angles. Drilled a 1/8 inch hole in the top of the 1/2 inch brace and the 1 inch brace. Installed a cleo to hole the bracket in place at the top of the 1 inch angle. Secured the bottom angles with the vice grips and drilled a 1/8 inch hole through both. Installed a 1/8 inch pop rivet in each of the bracket's holes. Measured the fitted a 1/2 inch angle between the top of the wing stub ribs. Using vice grips clamped the top inside angle to the vertical 1 inch angle. Drilled a 1/8 inch hole through both angles. Installed a pop rivet in the hole. Clamped the inside bracket to the vertical angle and drilled a 1/8 inch hole through both angles and installed a pop rivet in the hole.
Installed the left wing stub leading edge by drilling a 1/8 inch hole in a 12 by 13 inch sheet of 020 aluminum and attaching it to the bottom outside rib of the wing stub with a cleo. Drilled a 1/8 inch hole on the inside rib and securing that side with a cleo. Drilled a second hole on each rib 1 inch from the first holes securing the leading edge to the bottom wing ribs with additional cleo's.
