Using a razor knife removed the material between the first and second ribs on the wing. Straighten the rib braces and realigned the rib. Installed a reinforcing angle on each brace to keep them straight holding in place with 1/8 inch pop rivets. Turned the wing over and cleared any aluminum shaving from drilling the holes for the pop rivets. Ironed the rib tapes on the bottom of the wing with the small iron covering the edges and around the rivets. Turned the wing back over so the top was up. Applied glue along the cutout and applied a patch of fabric over the area. Applied a top coat of glue along the long inside edge of the patch and wiped away excess glue with a shop towel. Left to dry.
Using the small iron set at 275 degree ironed each of the rib tapes and around the stitch rivets across the top of the wing. Will complete the patch during the next work day.
