Brief Description: Finished the Top of the Lower Left Wing
Installed the pop rivets in the trailing half of the wing to stitch the fabric down. Glued fabric tape over each rib of the wing. Marked the penetration point for the upper aileron cable. Cut a 3/4 inch slit in the fabric and pulled the aileron cable through the slit. Cut a reinforcing patch to go over the cable slit and glued it in place. Ironed down the trailing edge fabric tape and coated it with glue wiping away the excess with a shop towel. Installed a fabric tape along the front edge of the wing. Installed a fabric tape along the wing aileron cutout top edge. This completes the covering of the wing. The deformation of the right rear area of the wing end is being evaluated for repair. That job for the next work day.
