Brief Description: Mounting the Wing and Lift Fittings
Assembled each of the four fitting by drilling a 1/2 inch hole in the bottom half and installing a 2 inch segment of 1/2 inch pipe. Spot welded each pipe to the fitting. Marked the mounting location on the fuselage for the right side forward fitting per the plans. Clamped the fitting in place and spot welded to the fuselage. Ensured that the fuselage was level and marked the 1.2 degree line for the aft fitting. Clamped the aft fitting in place and again checked the angle at 1.2 degree down from the front fitting. Spot welded the fitting in place. Repeated the process for the right side.
