I am using the CPI2 Ignition system times 2. I received the firewall forward components so was able to begin the install.
I am mounting the coil pact to magneto hole cover brackets supplied by SDS. All of the components are first class anodized billet machined. Lycoming had shipped the engine with HDPE temporary covers. When I removed the covers, I discovered the Magneto dogs were missing and put in a call. They arrived the next day, thanks Jeff!
Using performance car spark wire separators, the routing looks nice. I needed to by yet another type of crimper at $80 to crimp the terminals. Pricey, but they do a great job.
I am still waiting for the electronics to complete the installation. They are promised by the end of the month, give or take a few days.
